FBC family, it is with a heavy heart and prayerful consideration that we have decided to postpone physical gatherings (including Sunday services) until the end of the month of March pending further CDC and local government enquiries and mandates/suggestions regarding COVID-19. Effective immediately, all scheduled ministries (Bible studies, arts and crafts group, guys meeting etc.) are canceled. However, the absence of gatherings does mean the cancelation of ministry! We are still operating as a church. Therefore, for your convenience, we will be, firstly, filming services for you all to observe on our website (fbcridgecrest.com) and Facebook (First Baptist Church of Ridgecrest). Streaming will be available at our usual time on 10:30 on Sunday. If you don’t have access to online sources, please consult this week’s edition of the Daily Independent where my sermon will be transcribed in this week’s edition, or just let us know. Secondly, we are creating options through our website and social media page for availabilities for online donations for tithes and offerings. Third, we will be keeping in touch with our family as best we can to check in on you and inquire about how we can serve you. The show must go on, and we would love as much prayer and participation from you all as possible (are you reaching out to your OIKOS)? Please keep up to date on our media outlets for upcoming information and pass the word around to people via Facebook sharing and phone etc. We love you all, and it is a pleasure to serve you in the name of Christ!

Your servant,

Pastor Mathew B. Pope
